Position Title: Workers' Compensation Specialist
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $40-42 per hour (Temp-to-Hire)

Position Overview:
The Workers' Compensation Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the workers' compensation process, including claims processing, compliance with regulations, communication with medical providers, and coordination between employees, managers, and insurance carriers. This role ensures timely claim resolution, minimizes liability, and supports workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and file claims, investigate incidents, and assess claim validity.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with medical providers to ensure employees receive appropriate care.
- Serve as the main contact for workers' comp inquiries, and collaborate with HR and management on safety issues.
- Prepare reports on claim status, costs, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Risk Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation or claims management.
- Knowledge of state and federal workers' compensation laws.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office.
